BTW, why all my characters don’t need to eat, sleep, or even go to the washroom? Why they can change their armor in 2 second during the battle? Why they can carry so many things in their backpack and bag? Where are their backpacks and bags? Why you can hide your helmet/headgear during the battle? BECAUSE THIS IS A GAME. it is also THEIR game and they are making improvements to it as they go along.

as advertised they are actually USING their streaming tech to make the changes they said they would be making.

if a change is bad (in THEIR opinion) they will change the change.

they already made one change in the update and probably more will follow (maybe)

if it is a gamebreaker for you you have many other places to put you money

or you can wait and see how it turns out.

Sure, you are right, THEY can have the game back anytime they want, so Gaile Gray can solo the whole game.

I really don't like this update, it has made my main character (Mo/Me) 3 times weaker than he was before and thus I can't go into battle with 3 or 4 charr without being killed unless I have the following henchmen

Mage
Warrior
Healer

they aren't too balanced in my opinion, and My monk is a level 13 so facing charr shouldn't be to hard.

Yeah but I wasn't sure how popular Earthquake/Aftershock or Obsidian Flame were in PvE. I didn't wanna sound like Geos were overlooked if they really weren't, heh. Thanks for clearing it up though.

there is a difference between making the game ultra realistic and making mobs not stand in aoes. If you cant tell the difference than maybe you should not be playing at all. Heaven forbid something be a little challenging.

Bascially, I have to now change my play style all together. My stratagy was get a bunch of enemies in one group.... cast Balthasar's Aura, attack a little, cast Bonetti's Defense to refill energy and do it again. There went that idea when THEY ALL RUN AWAY!

It is by definition, not differences. If you cannot tell they are the same, I think you need a patch from Anet too.

The whole game is not challenge at all, in the other hand, it is a very easy game…because most of the RPG games I played, they did not have a indicator to tell you where to go on the map for the quest, but GW has, and players do not need too much puzzle solving skill for this game at all.

The only thing pisses people most is Anet acts as GOD in this game, change any thing without actually asking the player community first.

It's THEIR game. They can do what they want! It says on the box YOU purchased! When you said "ok, I'll play anyway" YOU agreed to it!

Stop whining and get over it.

I don't like this update at all, and am not willing to compromise…511 players and counting.
It is not whining, it is principle. You basically said everyone should not have right to complaint, if they complaint, you said they are whining. Who are you? Salesman or lawyer for Anet.
BTW, Yes, it is their game. Don’t forget. WE ARE THE CUSTOMERS… WE PAID FOR THE GAME. THEIR SALARY IS COMING FROM OUR MONEY.

When your phone company changes it's rates, go complain.
When your cable company changes what channels it provides, go complain.
When your car insurance is increased, go complain.

Go ahead. You're a customer. Surely your complaints will make them reverse their decision immediately, right? Try visiting the real world first... being a customer does not make you King.

Technically, we paid for the game that was in the box, not what we have today through various patches and alterations, big and small.

Yep, you paid for that game, and you played it. If you consider this current game a different game, you got it for free.

FIRST OFF ::: I am NOT a farmer.. ffs how many times do i have to say that.. NEVER farmed befor the patch.. i was happy about my ele aoe nukes.. and when i didnt feel like nuking i played monk to heal..

--that been said--

...maybe..i will check back on the game in a month or two months.. but as it is now the game frankly sux
1) PvP is probably good (dont have much experience with that because i dont like to pvp (sorry?)

2) They introduced weapons and items and after a month or two they removed them..making them 100k+ (+5energy sword and -50hp icon) --have both but that is NOT the point.

..it looks to me like they dont really concider the consequences of their actions..

3) They nerfed lots of drops ..like FoW..been there with a team and got 1shard and a few white items... after doing allmost all mission (NOT 1 gold dropped)

4) Prices on "perfect" gold items is insane now.

5) It seems like SF is the only place u can make some cash while in a team.. and after a month it kinda gets boring since u have done all missions 2-30 times.

I have a Mo/E (first time i tried farming is after patch..and it sux ) befor that i was heal only

W/R -- for IwaY tactics.. thought of giving pvp another chance.. but still dont like it.

E/Mo -- NEVER Farmed with ele, liked to nuke in teams..and ony have aoe damage spells ..both smite and fire

..and i tried playing with each of the caracters after patch.. the ele sux now..have to change to different skills and tactics (wich i dont like/want !)

The warrior is ok.. it only sux if enemies run from aoe.. you have to chase them or let them go..wich makes killing mobs take much longer than befor

The monk is ok too.. if ur heal only.. but now that i saw the power of smite heal does not appeal to me anymore.. would prefer Prot/smite..but wait smite (does) did alot of aoe damage =)

..so i dont really see a improvement of any kind towards my gameplay..sure there have been many other "major" patches.. but NONE that changed so much.
played beta, got the game when it was released.

off topic:
(liked the concept of beta alot better..where u could make skill charms.. that lasted 1day or so.. so u could use skills from each class if u wanted)

..so for now it's bye bye -.-.. GJ a-net

Well, after changing my skill set, my Pyro is back on track. Well sorta.

Instead of lasting AoE like MS and FS, i have FB, Phoenix and Rodgort's Invocation.

Not as powerful but somewhat effective.

I still find one thing strange.

Sometimes, when i start casting a spell like fireball, some enemies are moving away of the AoE before i finish casting it (drives the Warriors in my team crazy).

They must be psychics or something... Ok, they can tell i'm casting a FB but how can they guess where it will land or that i'm actually targeting them?

Personally, i never could predict where EnemyX will cast SpellY on PartyMemberZ.

I was hoping for some minor changes in the AI in the17 Nov update. Maybe next week…
